A Wes Anderson-inspired wedding that my bride, Amy, designed and sewed her own wedding dress. Not only did this Chicago bride make her own wedding dress, but she made robes for her mom + sister AND she also designed the paper suite, too. The level of detail that Amy and Pranas put into their wedding is remarkable — especially given that they hosted for such an intimate group of people. They truly treated their guests to a special, handcrafted evening at the Firehouse Chicago. No detail went overlooked. Each trinket at the table was carefully collected over the years and the couple curated it all with love and care.
So, you may not have the time or budget to collect vintage objects for your wedding decor. Or make your wedding dress, for that matter! For anyone in Chicago looking for an intimate wedding venue but one that is move-in ready for your wedding to look modern without needing too much added, Firehouse Chicago is the perfect spot to host your wedding. It’s a venue I love working with and one that always comes out picture-perfect in photos.
