Hurricane Sandy almost made it impossible for us to leave New York on Saturday. We made it out just in time and arrived safely in Paris on Sunday morning. We are currently staying with dear friends right next to the Louvre. It’s such a treat to be able to be able to traipse through their gardens on a nightly basis. Of course, it is always nice to have the Galeries Lafayette nearby for some window shopping, too.
