Like most weekends at the Chicago lakefront, Navy Pier and Milton Lee Olive Park were bustling. Ashley and Eric kept close the entire session — but, it wasn’t because there was a slight chill and it wasn’t because of the throngs of visitors. It was just a case of true love in the air! I adore working with couples that clearly cannot keep their hands off the other. It makes things more exciting and makes for superior photographs.
Their wedding will be my second of the season and the second weekend in a row I’ll be at The Grove Redfield Estate in Glenview, Illinois shooting a wedding. I’m really looking forward to kicking off the season at this venue, too. It’s a lush and dreamy sanctuary and National Historic Landmark in the middle of all that suburban sprawl.
